Annual General MeetinG

The SNA 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was convened as a structured and purposeful forum to review the organization’s progress, reaffirm its guiding principles, and chart the way forward. The meeting commenced with a Land Acknowledgement and Prayer, followed by the Chairman’s address and the presentation of the Annual Report, highlighting SNA Toronto’s continued commitment to social, educational, and cultural objectives rooted in the unitive philosophy of Sree Narayana Guru. Special recognition was accorded to sponsors and partners whose sustained support has been instrumental in advancing SNA’s mission. The AGM also provided an opportunity for member engagement through a Q&A session, the election of Executive Committee members, and concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks, reinforcing transparency, collective responsibility, and the organization’s vision of multicultural coexistence in Canadian society.

SNA organized an online talk session by Ani Thomas and Pravilal Pravibhavan. They shared their detailed experience on the Everest Base Camp Hiking. The talk includes their long-term preparation, travel and trekking preparation and finally their trekking saga. The talk was informative as well as inspiring.
